March Stablemate Body Replacement Costs
This is an update to the prices that I calculated back in January. I’ve added a per set section as well as the per mold section (to help clean up the clutter) and included the S&H charges into the per mold totals.
There hasn’t been any change between the two months that I can see, other than the $1.00 rise in the S&H costs, so prices have remained pretty much static. I was planning on putting in another order on the first of April, but so far sales and customs completed have lagged behind expected numbers.
Ah well, just means I need to roll up my sleeves and get painting! 😀 (more…)
January Stablemate Body Replacement Costs
Even though I am tracking the average costs of each model horse body that I buy (details to follow) I use the Replacement Cost to calculate the body costs for custom orders and for bringing in stock from my own personal collection.
Replacement costs are calculated from what it would cost me to buy a specific mold at retail (market value). Since I use these to figure out the ‘body cost’ portion of each sales listing, I will be updating these at the end of each month in order to keep the prices current. (more…)
