Avast! This little gal is out to take over the field and teach those colts to walk the plank!

This little gal was the first of this mold that I started fiddling around with bases for. The mold is very unstable and tend to fall over if you look at them sideways, so I had been looking for ways to make them a little less domino prone. (more…)

Tempest Teapot

Make: Breyer
Scale: Stablemate
Mold: Arabian (G2)
Color: Dun Splash Overo Blanket Appaloosa
Gallery: Appaloosa
Medium: Pastels and Acrylics
Status: Painted in 2004 and Sold November 2004

Scale: Mini Whinnies
Mold: Standing Quarter Horse Stallion
Color: Glossy Silver Splash Overo Red Bay
Gallery: Fantasy Overo
Medium: Acrylics
Painted/Sold: Painted August 2005 and Donated

This little guy was part of a herd I painted as a donation to the 2005 Hampton Roads Classic raffle. They might not have been the most impressive of the group, but a group of inch high horses painted in bright glossy colors are great for catching people’s attention. Plus it was fun writing the advertising copy! *grin*

This little fellow is yet another horse that was painted as a donation for the 2005 Hampton Roads Classic live show. Not a whole lot more to say about him, other than the fact these little guys seem to take to metallic colors like kids to candy—and they’re just as much fun to paint! (more…)
