Galloping out of the fairy lands, this handsome steed is looking for someone to raise some mischief with!

Underhill is a Breyer Stablemate Warmblood (G3) painted a shiny metallic green tobiano with sharp black points, star and snip, realistic eyes, and a coat of chrome to light his way through the dark. While he might fight a little with the camera (as you can tell from the photos), he looks good no matter what shade of green he comes out.

But don’t let his tricks with the camera fool you, this little guy is all Seelie Court at heart, and his pranks are harmless fun!

This little guy was the epitome of a wild tangent– he was supposed to be a black splatterpaint roan, but took a took a sharp turn at the absurd right after I got the basecoat done.

Bækhesten is a customized Breyer Stablemate G3 Mustang in a pseduo-watercolor bay. He’s actually the only horse I’ve painted with this method… I don’t know if I could manage to pull it off again!

This little gal is a show donation for Big Orange Bash which will take place on June 16, 2012 in Knoxville, TN. The show is held at the Hollingsworth Auditorium in the University of Tennessee and is a fundraiser to benefit the UT College of Veterinary Medicine. The request was for ‘something orange’ so I took the UT colors of orange and white and added a dollop of Tennessee Agate (the state stone). (more…)
