After having fun with the wood glue doodle magnets and the beach, I figured it was time for something a little less over the top… Thus this metallic pink ombre with three hearts!
While it’s as subtle as a shiny pink-hearted cross can be, I found that I really liked the simplicity of it. I may do a few more like this, once my scenic muse has stopped making off with the blanks.
The cross magnets are finished with Liquitex Gloss sealer on the front and matte on the back. You should be able to wipe them clean with a damp cloth, but please don’t leave let them sit out in the rain.
The crosses are roughly 3.5 inches tall and about 3 inches wide and are most likely made of birch plywood, but only ArtMinds knows for sure. The magnet on the back is a single flat strip that runs the length of the cross. It’s quite sturdy and should be able to hold up paper without issues (although it might have issues with cardstock). The magnets are reinforced with wood glue and have been painted over and well sealed, so they won’t come loose.
Medium: Liquitex White Gesso, CraftSmart Acrylics (Rose, Pink Blush Pearl), FolkArt Acrylics (436 Ballet Pink), and Apple Barrel Acrylics (20504 Black).
