This listing is for a pre-made scale model wooden bridge that was stained in Minwax 230 Early American and weathered. This bridge is in scale for most Breyer Stablemate molds. Stone ‘Chips’, and 1 gauge trains. (The horses, bases, and other props shown are not included.)

The bridge is meant for use in western trail class setups and meets the requirements for the AHQA SHW467.4 Ride over wooden bridge. It’s also just short enough for the 4H rules which have a max height of 8 inches.

I have a bunch of the Breyer Stablemate molds, so if there is a specific model you would like to see the bridge with, drop me a line and I’ll be happy to provide photos. I also do custom orders, if you are interested!

Construction & Details

The bridge is made of basswood and has been sanded, assembled with wood glue, stained, and weathered/worn. I coated it with matte varnish so you can wipe it with a damp cloth, but you can’t soak it in water.

This bridge does not come with a blue tarp insert, unlike some of the other premade bridges. If you would like one, please use the blue tarp add-on.

The bridge is relatively sturdy, so it should hold up to basic wear and tear, but is not intended for young children. This prop is meant for adults (or young adults) who are using it for careful play, display, Photo Show, or Live Show setups.

Actual Size

The bridge is 3 inches long, 1 5/16 wide, and 1/4 inches tall. The top and framing boards are 1/16 x 3/16 inches.

Scale Size

In 1:32 scale (Breyer Stablemates, Stone ‘Chips’, 1 gauge) this would be 8 feet long, 3 feet 6 inches wide, and 8 inches tall. The boards would be 6 inches wide and 2 inches thick.

In 1:48 scale (Large Micro Minis, O scale) this would be 12 feet long, 5 feet 3 inches wide, and 1 foot tall. The boards would be 9 inches wide and 3 inches thick.

In 1:24 scale (Breyer LittleBit, G scale, Model Aircraft)  this would be 6 feet long, 2 feet 7 1/2 inches wide, and 6 inches tall. The boards would be 4 1/5 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches thick.

To see if this bridge will work with your model, it can be helpful to assemble a paper version and see how it looks. I do take custom orders, so if you need a bridge that’s larger or smaller, please drop me a line!
