But my painting speed being what it is… it took me so long to finish, by the time I was done the person who had asked for it didn’t want it anymore. (Woe!)
Thus this little gal’s cantered over into the sales herd. I started painting her in September 2016 and finished her in November, but it’s taken two long years to get her up on the blog!
She’s a Breyer Stablemate Thoroughbred (G2) painted to a dark bay with high splash overo markings. I sanded her seams and removed the Breyer logo, but no other customizations have been made to the mold.
Breyer Stablemates are 1:32 scale model horses and are approximately 4″ long by 3″ high. This little guy is photo show quality and may be live show quality, but I haven’t shown in years. If you would like additional photos, just let me know! 😁 Medium: Liquitex White Gesso, FolkArt Acrylics (2906 Coffee Latte, 2907 Bark Brown, 425 Medium Gray, 504 VanDyke Brown, 944 Nutmeg), Apple Barrel (20504 Black, 21390 Khaki), and Prismacolor pencils.
