Welcome to the homepage for my 2010 NaNoWriMo novel!

This novel was written offline and the current plan is to upload it as a serial story in 2012 (edited of course!).

The Plot

The Earth and Not-Earth are in the midst of a Sundering, growing spiral patterns that swap chunks of one planet for another. No one knows how it started, how to stop it, or how to deal with the chaos the Sundering leaves behind. (Dun, dun DUN!)

Humanity and a species built loosely on the awesome that is Mimic Octopuses must work hand in not-hand to adapt to their new realities.

• Day 1 : 3,892 words – rough outline, some searching for POV group ideas
• Day 2 : 1,769 words – recon team rough, logistical planning
• Day 3 : 3,147 words – flipped hospital POV, scene ideas
• Day 4 : 2,592 words – prose fleshing out of POV teams
• Day 5 : 2,432 words – more prose work, some exploration of submarine plot
• Day 6 : 3,275 words – fleshing out the plot holes
• Day 7 : 5,561 words – the sundered hospital joins the storyline
• Day 8 : 2,485 words – sorting things into proper story order, fleshing out scenes
• … and then I got lazy and stopped posting updates. Sorry!
