Misfits Foal

Misfits Foal

Make: Breyer
Scale: Stablemate
Mold: Cantering Foal (G2)
Color: Black with white Misfits’ skull logo
Gallery: Other Color
Medium: Acrylics
Status: Painted 200? and Sold 200?

This little guy has a flat black base, red eyes and nostrils, a white skill pattern on his rump, a white bat on his forehead, and a translucent pearlescent layer under a high gloss finish. He’s one of the few non-portrait custom orders that came with detailed instructions!

This little guy was part of a custom order, paired with an adult Arabian. I had no idea at the time that the skull face was actually the logo for the band Misfits— I thought it was just another take on the Breyer traditional scale Skullduggery—which goes to show how much I know about music I guess.

The pearlescent finish was bought specifically for this custom order and I have yet to go back and use it again. Which is sort of a shame since it has a great sparkle too it… maybe I need to do some Twilight-themed horses and put it to good use! *grin*
