
1. Space is flush with magic and the ships ride along massive ley lines connecting the stars in a web of ever-flowing impossibility.
2. The last thing the neighborhood needed was another HOA civil war and for a week everyone walked on eggshells waiting to see how the trashcan feud would end.
3. What one MacGillivray knows, they all know. Lily was born with an instinctual knowledge of how to access their shared memories, but it takes a while to figure out which thoughts are hers.
4. It’s basic percussion, thumps and rumbling booms and sharp pings, all dancing past each other in an improv twirl as the musicians deftly turn noise into song.
5. “What did you expect?” He laughed in a dry echoing rustle of fallen leaves and forests lost to rot. “My world ended when you left.”
