Jasmijn (Custom Breyer Stablemate Warmblood)

Jasmijn - Custom Breyer Stablemate Trotting Warmblood - Martha Bechtel - Left

Jasmijn (Jazzy) is a schooling horse on a mission! Ready to take green riders and turn them into barnyard champs, she’s got her mind on her mission… but an eye out for apples. 😉

Jazzy is a Breyer Stablemate G4 Trotting Warmblood painted a dark (or liver) flaxen chestnut with a small blaze, brown eyes, four white socks, shell hooves, and a matte finish. Her eyes and inner nostrils have been lightly glossed.

She’s had her seams and logo removed, but no other changes were made to the mold. I personally would consider her possibly PSQ, but not LSQ. She was painted mainly as a fun shelf piece, so she wasn’t meant for the show ring.

The Breyer Stablemate G4 Trotting Warmblood is roughly 2.5 inches tall, 4 inches long, and an inch wide. Per Breyer Stablemates are all 1:32 scale, but it varies a bit between molds.

Jazzy was started and finished in September 2021 as part of a ‘paint ALL the brown horses!’ chestnut and bay herd.

Medium: Liquitex White Gesso, DecoArt Americana Acrylics (DA163 Honey Brown, DA077 Desert Sand, DA095 Neutral Gray), FolkArt Acrylics (944 Nutmeg), Apple Barrel (20503 White, 20504 Black, 20258 Melted Chocolate), and pastels.
