Flamewars is a Breyer Mini Whinnie Trotting Morgan Stallion painted a flaxen red chestnut with realistic glossed eyes, no chrome, and a matte finish. I’ve had a decent go at removing his seams and logo, but these little equines are meant as fun shelf pieces and not Live (or Photo) Show competitors.
Everyone picks a hill to die on and this little guy is dying on ALL the hills! He’s channeling his inner chestnut mare and is ready to conquer the world (or at least the bookshelf). Just don’t let him near your keyboard… 😂
The mold is quite tippy, so he’s permanently attached to a wooden base that has been covered with model train grass. It’s attached with wood glue, so it’s pretty darned sturdy!
He’s roughly 2.5 inches wide and 1.5 inches high and Breyer claims they’re all 1:64 scale (although the Mini Whinnies molds tend to vary a lot in relative size).
He was started in April 2021 and finished up in June as part of a ‘paint ALL the Mini Whinnies!’ charge.
