Well, he’s certainly not a Palomino anymore! ๐
Phil is a Safari Ltd. TOOB Horses and Riders Palomino painted to a bright green-bay with solid black eyes and legs that really belong on a much heavier horse. He’s had his seams touched up and his logo removed, but is meant to be a fun shelf piece and is not Photo or Live Show Quality.
I was going to name him Banner at first, due to the green, but then I realized he was more of an Agent’s Agent and thus this handsome dude became a Phil! (The mold is actually a mare, but eh, technicalities!)
The Safari Ltd. TOOB animals are always a bit of a hit and miss. The TOOB Horses are very much just Horse-Shaped-Objects and the Ponies are actually pretty darned good! The Horses and Riders are decent, but still HSO enough that they ended up in the Paint Chip Ponies herd.
Paint Chip Ponies are small horse-shaped-objects (HSOs) that I use to test out various color combinations before I attempt them on a larger horse. They are tiny little bits of silliness that are meant to hang out on a shelf (or a computer desk) and bring a bit of a smile to the room.
