Heading into Camp NaNoWriMo

April Camp NaNoWriMo - NaNoFinMo square writing badge

So the general writing plan for this year was to avoid setting any writing goals… which is why I jumped into the Camp NaNoWriMo waters again! πŸ˜‚ (Well more specifically the NaNoFiMo)

In keeping with my plan for no plans, I’m focusing in on all of the things about rebuilding That Don’t Impress Me Much that aren’t prose. With a daily goal of 100 words minimum, I’m looking to build out a new backstory, outline, and plot so that I’ll have a solid foundation for the actual novel.

For this Camp, I’m logging things under And Then There Was War because that will be the eventual MuseFic that tackles the actual rewrite. I won’t actually have anything to post to the blog this month, but I will be roughing out what each of the MuseFic chapters will be covering, so it’s sort of a framework for a rewrite?

Also: lots of doodling!

…and lots of trying not to get sidetracked by other projects. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Now off to grab a map of Australia and mess with it until it looks right! πŸ˜‚
