I wanted to say something impressive about this week– but I ended up losing one day to Lazy and two days to Feeling Dizzy and it was all much less impressive than I hoped.
Oh well, I still hit 40! ๐
This week I’m leveling Resto Druid Featherpaw and running with addons: SexyMap, Bartender4, ThreatPlates, Pawn, Z-Perl Unit Frames, WeakAuras, GatherMate2.
Monday

30 min at 1.7 mph… and I cheated and played for a bit on the desktop computer. Hence the giant jump in levels. I only got the normal single level while walking.
I was trying to figure out why I couldn’t hire more treants for the command table quests and I can’t have anything open but WoW on the treadmill computer.
I finally got it working, but only after I did Idol of the Wilds which in theory isn’t needed. It should have unlocked after Recruiting the Troops. So either I’m very unlucky or there’s something buggy going on. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

Tuesday
The was the first day I just really didn’t feel like walking on the treadmill. Not sick, not tired, just didn’t want to. So I played on my main on the desktop computer instead.
I knew I’d hit these days every so often, but I need to put a little more effort into finding reasons to get myself walking anyway. Hmm…
Wednesday

30 min at 1.5mph because I was feeling a bit dizzy and falling down on a treadmill is not on my bucket list. I took a sidetrip over to Highmountain because I was unreasonably amused by the fact they thought I wasn’t a Moose.
Help us oh-person-who-is-not-from-here! Let us tell you of our troubles that you wouldn’t know anything about. ๐คฃ
I know it would be a big headache to redo the areas so the quest dialog for allied races was different– but it would have been really cool. A ‘hey, I know you’ve been out adventuring, but we need you at home!’ sort of deal.
Featherpaw: level 36
Thursday

Feeling a bit lightheaded today, so I tried my new ‘just do 15 min’ idea… and got in 23 min at 1.5 mph. Still doing the Hightmountain quest line and still highly amused.
I figure that will start to wear off at some point.
I’m not sure what I’m going to do at 50, if I’ll hop right over to SL or not. I held off until I finished some of the BFA questlines on my other main-alt, but I’m not sure it’s worth it this time. (Leveling got insanely slow once I passed 50 and didn’t leave Kul Tiras.
Featherpaw: level 37
Friday

18 min and 1.5 mph, done only to honor my ’15 minutes’ goal. Crazy dizzy– hope this goes away soon. Still managed to ding another level– not really sure how.
Interestingly, I can’t see a lot of the effects with the graphics settings I have to run with so things like Dragon Fire are invisible. So I picked up GTFO which helpfully tells me if I’m standing in the bad.

New Addons: GTFO
Saturday

48 min at 1.5 mph and it’s nice to finally be back on track. I finished up the Ebonhorn quest so it looks like I need to get back into the main quest and my druid class quests or I’m going to out-level them. (Darnit)
I’m not sure it was really worth it to do the Highmountain questline, since I’d done it before. I’d like to get loremaster at some point so it might be smarter to check what zones I’ve already done on the next alt. ๐ค
Featherpaw: level 39
Sunday

33 min at 1.5 mph and hit 40. Which may mean 50 (and swapping to the next alt) is less than two weeks away!
I picked Soul of the Forest as my talent, just because Icy Veins said it was good for dungeons, and far be it from me to second-guess the experts! Plus I miss my 100% tree form years and I figure only getting it once every three minutes will just make me sad.
I picked up flying after having ignored it for a bit assuming it was going to cost a crazy amount of gold. Whoops! That would have made a few of the quests a LOT easier.

In Other Toons

I’ve been spending a bunch of time on my main (Icepaw) and doing world quests, following the main quest, running Torghast… basically everything except dungeons. There’ve been one too many threads on Reddit about the toxic mess that is randoms and I’m reluctant to dive in.
I want to get friends so I can enjoy the dungeons and not just speed run! But I should probably also watch some walkthroughs so I know the mechanics. ๐
