For the 2019 craft fair I did a series of seaside crosses! These are beach scenes with sandy bases, rough waters, tiny sandpipers, and a storm on the horizon.
The sand is a mixture of decor sand and wood glue that was then painted to tie it in with the rest of the picture. The waves are glossy and the storm clouds, birds, and beach are matte.
The magnet on the back is a single flat strip that runs the length of the cross. It’s quite sturdy and should be able to hold up paper without issues (although it might have issues with cardstock).
Medium: Liquitex White Gesso, CraftSmart Acrylics (Island Blue), FolkArt Acrylics (420 Linen, 708 Dove Gray, 425 Medium Gray), and Apple Barrel Acrylics (21390 Khaki, 20223 Pool Blue, 21485 Blue Bonnet, 20773 English Navy, 20503 White, 20504 Black).
