Rosalina (Custom Breyer Stablemate Arabian)

Rosalina - Custom Breyer Stablemate Arabian - Martha Bechtel - Right desk

This little gal went for a watery-dapple run across the workbench and came out the other side a springtime of pink!

Rosalina is a Breyer Stablemate G4 Arabian painted to a watercolor-y dappled pink with magenta points, bright blue eyes, and a high gloss finish. She’s a take on a dapple grey viewed through rose-colored glasses!

The camera has a love-hate relationship with the magenta color and the dappling is subtle in places, so she definitely looks a lot better in person. I’ve tried to include a bunch of different lighting so you can see the variations.

She’s had her seams and logo removed, but no other changes were made to the mold. I personally would consider her PSQ and possibly LSQ (depending on the class), but she was painted mainly as a fun shelf piece.

The Breyer Stablemate G4 Arabian is roughly 2.75 inches tall, 4 inches long, and 1 inch wide. Per Breyer Stablemates are all 1:32 scale, but it varies a bit between molds.

Rosalina was started in April of 2020 and finished up in September of the same year.
