No one’s as sassy as a strawberry roan and this little gal has that in spades!
She’s a plain chestnut roan with black hooves and not a spot of chrome, unlike her flashier sister #131. But a simple spice mix is just as powerful and she’s ready to bring a little equine whimsy to your kitchen.
This little gal was started in October 2019 and finished up in September 2020. I have a lot of magnets that are partially painted and one of my goals for 2020 was to bring them across the finish line.
She was cast from the second generation of OOMOO molds using the magnet leveling jig. She has a slightly raised magnet and a nice flat back. The new setup makes prepping a lot easier!
Medium: Liquitex Gesso, Americana Acrylics (DA063 Burnt Sienna), and Apple Barrel Acrylics (20504 Black).
