Cardinal Ornament #4

Cardinal Christmas Ornament 004 - Gallery Image

When I started preparing for the 2019 United Christian Parish Art & Craft Fair, I knew I wanted to bring some Paint-Your-Own resins along with me.

To make things seem a little less overwhelming to buyers, I was trying to create ‘How to Paint’ blog posts for the various resins. This little guy was supposed to be the example of paint jobs similar to #1.

This time I did do some washes over the numbering sticker and I think I like the look of that a lot better.

I ended up with a lot of in-progress photos, but only these two photos of the final piece before it headed out to its new home. (Whoops!) Once again the camera didn’t do a good job at capturing all the red and orange tones.

I’m quite happy I have the pixel camera now– I always seem to end up with too many photos nowadays. Anywho, I’m still working on that blog post… so I suppose I’ll have to paint it again! 😂
