Wooden Cross Magnet #4

Wooden Cross Magnet 004 - Martha Bechtel - Flat Tan

I’d had fun making seaside dolphins, so I figured I’d do a seaside cross as well! The bottom is sand attached with wood glue and painted (since the plain sand didn’t tie in well).

I had to break out the magnifying glass to paint the little sandpipers, but it was totally worth it! ๐Ÿ˜

I don’t have many pictures because I painted this right before the 2018 craft fair and it ended up selling. But it was the reason I did the next series of beach crosses– so it was the start of a fun adventure!
