Fat Unicorn #18

Fat Unicorn Magnet 018 Champagne Pearl - Front - Martha Bechtel

This little gal is the twin to #17, with the colors reversed, and if you squint she could almost be called a perlino! ?

This snazzy little Fat Unicorn is painted a solid champagne with blue eyes, lightly pinked nose and ears, pearl mane and tail, and gold horn and hooves.

She was part of the mostly-traditional unicorn explosion that I painted in September of 2019 for that year’s UCP craft fair. I was having a blast of a time coming up with all the colors a unicorn could be (as well as a bunch of more traditional white).

You can tell by her minimalistic back that she was well after the ‘offsides have to be perfect’ rut I got stuck in with the first generation of ponies.

She was cast using the magnet leveling jig and has a slightly raised magnet and a nice flat back.
