My third paint job on new molds always tends to be playful and this time was no exception! ๐
I decided to try and paint it with very thin washes of color, almost like a watercolor painting. It came out pretty well and I coated it with a heavy gloss shine to make it look more like a glass ornament (at least from the front).
Left the back a flat matte so it blends in better with the rest of the tree when viewed from the back. I think I might try doing a wash over the label on the next few (just to blend it in a bit more).
Medium: Liquitex White Gesso, FolkArt Acrylics (2901 Apple Red, 2900 Cardinal Red), and Apple Barrel Acrylics (21470 Ripe Tomato, 21386 Arbor Green, 20530 Wedgewood Green, 20504 Black)
