Fat Corgi Magnet #6

Fat Corgi Resin Magnet - 006 Magenta and Pink Tricolor - Front

Tricolor Welsh Corgis are quite dapper, but if you shift the hue through rose-colored glasses, Pembrokes look even more awesome!

This happy Fat Corgi is a tricolor pink with a lot of chrome. Her magenta saddle pattern contrasts quite lovely with the bright whites and pinks.

She is coated with several layers of gloss sealer and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth… but she probably shouldn’t go for a swim!

The Fat Corgis are hand-cast in resin from a handmade silicone mold of my own sculpture and thus no two will be exactly alike. I’m still learning how to make molds and how to resin cast, so things aren’t perfect (yet!) and I’ve tried to show off any flaws in the photos.

The magnets used are small round ceramic magnets and they are strong enough to hold up paper on a swinging door, but not cardstock.

Corgis are roughly 2.25 inches from nose to tail and 1.5 inches from top to tummy. This little gal was cast from an OOMOO molds with a handset magnet. Thus she has a raised magnet and her back is pretty flat, needing a only a quick round of sanding and carving to clean her up.
