Since Piano Adagietto was too dark to take good prop photos with, I needed a new horse to help out around the farm. As much as I love bays, I figured it was long past time to paint up a chestnut!
She’s a customized Breyer Stablemate G4 Loping Quarter Horse (aka Dungaree) painted to a flaxen red chestnut with two white socks. She’s had her seams sanded and logo removed, but no other customizations have been made.
Thanks to Google Photos (and my compulsive photo-taking) I can tell you that she was started in January 2017, made lots of progress in August 2017, and finally finished
I still need to get better photos of her in the new lightbox, but when I do I’ll come back and update the post. Until then you can see her in my shop showing off the model horse props!
