There’s nothing like finding a lucky penny on the sidewalk… or a lucky fat pony magnet on the fridge!
If your kitchen is in need of a little pick-me-up, this dapper little guy is sure to bring a smile to your face as he gallops across the refrigerador. He’s a solid copper with antique copper points and shiny black hooves. He’s been gloss coated and will stand up to water splashes and wiping with a damp cloth… but he probably shouldn’t go for a swim!

The Fat Ponies are hand-cast in resin from a handmade silicone mold of my own sculpture and thus no two will be exactly alike. I’m still learning how to make molds and how to resin cast, so things aren’t perfect (yet!) and I’ve tried to show off any flaws in the photos.
The magnets used are small round ceramic magnets and they are strong enough to hold up paper on a swinging door, but not cardstock. If you would like a stronger neodymium magnet instead, convo me for a custom pony! 🙂

Ponies are roughly 2.25 inches from nose to tail and 1.5 inches from hoof to mane. This little guy was cast from the first generation OOMOO molds, but was created before I came up with my magnet leveling jig so his magnet is slightly sunken. Otherwise his back is pretty smooth, although there’s a bit of an angle on the legs since the back is higher than normal– still, not too shabby for eyeballing the correct depth!
