There’s no kitchen or office that this happy little orange tabby cat can’t bring a little sunshine to!
Meet the very first of this series of magnets, a bright orange tabby with slightly darker orange stripes (and magnet sides). She’s got cute pink nose, a nice clean white bib, a purr-sonality that brightens up wherever she’s hanging out.
This little tabby was painted in acrylics painted in Apple Barrel Acrylics and finished with a glossy sealer. You can see in the photos that she’s got a bit of a shine. She is sponge-wipe durable, but please don’t let her go for a swim!

Roughly 2 inches wide by 1.75 inches tall the original cat was sculpted by me in Super Sculpey and used to create a silicone mold. I cast the magnet using a Plaster of Paris and wood glue mixture, with additional layers of wood glue used to help harden the plaster before painting.

The magnets on the back will hold him securely to the fridge and should be good for a piece of paper (or two).
Still, this gal is Art and not Toy, so it will still be heading for the morgue if it hits the floor. Or at least it’s ears will… the magnets are large enough it should protect the rest of her.
Medium: Liquitex Gesso and Apple Barrel Acrylics (21472 Jack-o-Lantern, 21471 Spiced Carrot, 20535 Light Pink, and 20504 Black).
