Python, GitHub, and Other Fancy Stuff

I’ve decided to get up off my lazy brain and learn some new languages in the new year!

It’s never too late for new year’s resolutions so I’ve spent the last few days bumbling around the internet and learning how people learn nowadays. I really should have been out swimming in the educational waters a bit more (beyond my WordPress adventures), there’s so much to learn and for the most part it seems incredibly simple to do so.

I setup a GitHub account/profile/whatever this morning (you can find me here) and I’m about to head into the Codecademy course on Python since everything I found online said it was a good place to start. It’s not a language I’ve done before (unlike C++, Java, Javascript, PHP, etc.) so it should be a good test of the system.

Heck if I know what I can even build in Python, but it should be a fun adventure!
