Live From the Clean Workbench 07-31-2017

There’s nothing like a nice clean workbench to start off the month! ๐Ÿ™‚

…But I have a lot of messy workbench love as well, since it means things are getting done. I’m going to try and take daily workbench photos this month so I can make a silly gif at the end of it.

Not too much to talk about since the last update, most of the work I’ve been doing has been on the two body box horses, touching up older pieces to get them ready for Etsy, and the Paint Chip Pony herd. So this post is more ‘to do’ rather than ‘have done’.

I had such grand plans for the body box trade that haven’t quite panned out– so August is hereby declared Get Them Thar Horses Done month! ๐Ÿ˜€

The person whose horses they are has asked that I focus on getting a specific horse done this month, so you’ll get to see some new faces trotting by. That one is going to start out with some sculpting, so I’ll have a bit of downtime as I wait for things to harden. I’m going to be splitting that time between the other bits of the herd. Some of these are ‘surprise’ horses so you won’t see photos of them until they are completely done.

In case I have extra time (which I doubt) I’ll be working on rebuilding the photo studio and experimenting on how to take good Etsy photographs. Now that we have 10 images for each listing I’m chomping at the bit with ideas. ๐Ÿ™‚
