It had been a long, hard, boring day of playing scribe at the diplomatic meetings and Meyla was ready for a long soak in one of the Vale’s pools. Her tunnel vision was bad enough that she actually walked past Mirrum and was halfway to the stairs of her assigned elke before the multi-hued vision registered. Mindspeach had never been Meyla’s strong point, so her garishly bedecked Companion was spared her initial reaction. With a tired sigh, the Herald turned to face her partner.

“You’re blue.”

The previously white Companion nodded agreeably, a mischievous sparkle dancing in her blue eyes. She tossed a multi-colored mane and danced in a circle, showing off the various colored designs. Two not-as-brave Hawkbrothers waved paintbrushes, hidden safely behind their equine canvas.
