Disastrous is too mild a word, Snape thought to himself as he attempted to unstick Neville’s cauldron from where it had fused itself to the table. Damned if I know how he manages such unrepeatable accidents.
Daunting as the inevitable classroom explosions were, they were also completely unique in nature and method. Dark Lord or no, the wizarding world might have more to fear in the inept boy’s budding talents as a “Natural Disaster in Training” than anything coherently evil. Defending his classroom, much less the world from Neville’s flair for the explosive was not something he looked forward to.
