It was nothing like anything he’d done before, and that was what kept him sane. No mixing, no measuring, no careful intonations or playing shepherd to a gaggle of adolescents who’d rather be anywhere but in class. And on those days when the Muse was flowing and the ink rolled from his pen onto the page in one fluid sweep, he found he could finally escape. Finally forget. It was like nothing he had done before… and yet it was like everything he’d done before.
Despair.com was appreciative, if slightly overwhelmed by the quality (and quantity) of its newest freelancer.
