He hoped the TARDIS might have mistranslated. “Riding you say?”

His Companion nodded happily.

“On… horses?” Which was a tad redundant since they were standing outside a stable, but really now, there were countless more interesting ways to die. Perhaps she had meant elephants or cephalopods or something with a little less speed and a little more brains.

Which made him wonder if somewhere (or somewhen) they might have gotten around to breeding riding sheep, because if you were looking for a right dearth of brains they’d give horses a run for their money. Racing sheep, now there’s a thought…
