Camp NaNoWriMo April 2014!

The Plotting Begins!

10,000 words is the smallest goal you can pick, so that’s where I’m starting off!

Since I have a habit of losing Camp NaNo’s with stunning consistency, I figured this time around I had better stack the deck a bit. Not only am I starting with the lowest possible goal, but I’m also working on smaller projects that I’ve already partially completed.

But the twist is that I am only going to count words that are in a new finished eBook. No drafts, no WiPs, no world-building that’s basically just filler.

The Plan

So first on the block are all of the missing 2012-2014 monthly Saturday Story Prompt collections (April-December).

I’ve actually got a good rough draft for these– I just have to read back through them to winnow out the bad ones, arrange them into good groups of five, write all the blog posts and then format them into monthly eBooks.

After that I’m going to finish up the revised version of the serial story The Wolves We Are.

And then finish the Listener’verse flash fiction piece In Peace (which hasn’t been published anywhere before).

And at that point I’ll be looking over the other short stories, flash fiction, and drabble collections to see what to polish next.

It’s cheating a bit (at least to start with), but my hope is to end up with 10,000 brand new words by the end of it!
