Miracle Max (Custom Breyer Mini Whinnie Standing Quarter Horse Stallion)

Miracle Max - Right

This little guy earned his name after a long drawn-out battle to try and photograph him. I have a love-hate relationship with my camera when it comes to certain colors… and it looks like I’m going to have to add yellow to that list!

Thankfully the camera (and the lighting) finally decided to play nice long enough to get some good shots of this handsome little fella. (I also learned a lot about F-stops and depth of field, which will get their own post in a bit.)

Max is a bright yellow with orange dun markings, shading down to red hooves. I tried for some primitive markings on the legs, but after the sealer they ended up blending in too well to see (alas). He has solid black eyes, a white frame overo pattern, and was finish with a matte spray. His seams and logo have been removed, but no other changes were made to the mold.

Medium: Liquitex Acrylics (Gesso, Cadmium Yellow Medium/Brilliant Yellow, Cadmium Orange, Brilliant Orange, Mars Black) Sargent Art Chalk Pastels (Oranges and Reds)
