Long Time No Post

Best of Intentions

Well, that de-escalated quickly…

The first half of 2013 has gone by in a blink and I’m finding myself constantly distracted by things more immediate and shiny than writing blog posts.

In the past six months I’ve gotten a new job (new department, same company), started a massive square-foot garden (the SQUASHPOCALYPSE is upon us), and got to combine two households back into one now that my hubby finally got to move home for good (so long Army, it’s been fun!).

Which means my blog has been nothing but Saturday Story Prompts for quite a while now…

But new year’s resolutions are good all year ‘round and I’m nothing if not full of good intentions! (Plus it was my 3 Year Blogversary on Sunday and I’m overdue for some new goal-setting). This time I’m going to start small and then ramp up, hopefully that will work better than my normal plan of jumping straight into the deep end.

So here’s to mid-year resolutions! *raises glass*

    Your Saturday Story prompts are always so interesting — how do you come up with them/where do you get them from? But I look forward to seeing more pretty painted horses and other stuff again in the near future, too. 😀

      My SSPs grew out of a writing exercise I started doing years ago– I have to sit down and write at least one sentence set in a totally new world every time I run into writers block. So I get a lot of them done during NaNo events, 😉

      I have about half a year’s worth of outlines posts on horses and WoW’ing and all sort of other fun stuff… now I just have to get them to paper!

      Good thing there’s a NaNoWriMo Camp happening in July! *makes rebeling notes*
