Matt loves guns and explosives and curses a blue streak when he gets excited, but Trish knows he’s an ogre at heart. Because everyone has two jobs on Atlantis, one is his bark and his bite, but the other’s his brain.

Intelligence Analyst, Cryptologic Linguist, with a knack for pulling meaning from static. He’s got just enough of the gene to give him that push, and uses every scrap that he’s got. He might shoot first and ask questions later, but he’s never been wrong on who he’s chosen to shoot.

Except for the sheep, and that wasn’t his fault.
