
So I was working on the other metallic horses and whilst waiting for the layers to dry I had some spare time between painting and planning out this years garden…
Yeah, bad puns are pretty much mandatory in my world. 😂
The photos are a little darker on this guy because his color started going sideways when I lightened them. (I love metallic purple horses, really I do! *mutter*)
He’s plum on his legs, stripes and points and amethyst for the main body color. The two colors blended remarkably well so you get this cut optical illusion that his strips are much darker than the rest. His eyes do have purple pupils, but it’s just about impossible to tell with photos.
I think he turned out pretty well for a completely random tangent—but I’m a tad bit biased, so we’ll see what the Etsy world thinks!
