“Monday’s child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s child is full of grace…”
Someday is one of a pair of doodle horses I started back in 2005(?) and was unable to finish because I couldn’t match the doodle paint color. Yet another reason to regret throwing out all that paint when I was cleaning house… *sighs* And folks wonder why artists tend to horde things.
But bygones are bygones and this little guy looks pretty darned good with only a partial doodle coat, so I touched up the few rubs he’d picked up in the body box and finished him up with a nice high gloss. Just like his half-finished sibling Cid sin’Terminar, he’s ready to rock the shelves!
His seams and logo have been removed but ears and hooves have not been carved. I’m pretty darned fond of the Quarter Horse mold, so I don’t think I’ve ever done any resculpting to it other than to twitch the tail on Smokey’s Shadow. *pats Someday fondly*
