
1. Lies become the truth, if you tell them long enough.
2. “After all that, what did you expect?” He wiped his bloody nose on the remnants of the shirt. “Life’s too short for happy endings.”
3. Some things are old from the moment they’re made, heavy with time and the taste of the sea.
4. There was a pause, the world waiting on their decision… then they turned right, walked out of the story, and vanished into the margins of the page.
5. The darkness was breathing, with each whispering exhale the shadows crept further up the stairs.
