July 2012 Balance Sheet

July 2012

July was a bit of a nothing month, mostly because of the fact that work was a little crazy and life outside work was a bit worse. I did get out the last of the show donations, so that’s one thing off my endless To-Do List.

As always, I need to start putting more time an energy into marketing (and getting the eBooks done), but I have a feeling that’s going to be the song and dance for this year.

Ah well, learning curves are rarely exponential, so back to the grind! 😉

The Breakdown

Income : $0.00

Nothing sold this month, but hopefully that’s a trend I’ll be breaking again soon. *eyes the Etsy herd* I think I might need to start paying attention to color word trends and painting a few horses to tap into those.

It was nice to get into the black last month and I’m raring to do it again! 😀

Expenses : -$5.14

No new art supplies, domain names, or other paraphernalia so it’s just shipping fees this month. Woo?

$5.14 Shipping (Park Color Craze Live)

Inventory : $0.00

I did move two horses from the old body box to the new this month, but instead of changing the inventory I just took out two of the draft horses for my own home herd– since I’m valuing them the same, the actual inventory dollar count didn’t change.

$1.00 Doodlebug
$1.00 Sunnycide Up
-$1.00 Moved Draft to Home Herd
-$1.00 Moved Draft to Home Herd

Taxes : $0.00

No taxes for this month, yet again.

TOTAL : -$5.14

Year to Date

I’m still solidly in the red for this year, but thankfully most of the expenses are behind me, so I’ve just got to find some income to offset things… *ponders*

$112.78 Income
-$312.81 Expenses
-$152.99 Inventory
-$30.00 Taxes
-$383.02 TOTAL
