I’m officially throwing in the towel.

I started out trying to edit older novels. That failed.

I tried a midmonth reboot to start a new story. That failed.

I had the crazy idea of trying to stay up until midnight this Friday to squeeze out every last wordcount that I could… but I can tell you right now that that’s going to fail.

I had good intentions, but bad execution, which seems to be the hallmark of my failed NaNo attempts. So once again, I’m back to revising my battle plans for the next attempt.

Come November I won’t be writing short stories or editing older works or rewriting failed NaNos from scratch… I’m going to start something new and I’m going to write an outline.

*sighs and goes off to start brainstorming*
