This little guy has been hanging out in my body box for quite a while now, just waiting for the Muses to notice him. His sunny disposition finally caught their eye and now he’s sporting blue skies with only a tiny cloud to weigh him down.
As you can see by the last photo in the list, Sunny has not only gotten a shiny new coat, but also a tail trim to lighten his load. Now that he’s not quite as heavy in the hind end, he’s a bit more stable than his more voluptuous counterparts.
He’s got solid black eyes and hooves, topped off with an unshaded basecoat. Since my initial attempts at adding shading turned out to be basically invisible, I decided to just settle for some nice solid colors this time around.
His seams and logo have been removed, but I haven’t done any additional tweaking to the mold beyond his tail trim. He’s just too skinny to try for hoof or ear carvings, unlike some of the heavier Mini Whinnie molds. *pats Sunny apologetically*
He’s probably not show quality, just because he’s not as flashy as some of the other horses out there, but he’d make a lovely shelf piece and he’s just itching to bring a bit of sunshine to your bookcase! 🙂
Note: I’m not sure why he’s got that bit of blue showing on his nose, it’s not there in real life.
