Doodlebug (Custom Breyer Mini Whinnie Walking Arabian Mare)

Doodlebug - Left

She was painted in a dark blue metallic paint, most likely FolkArt Acrylics but that paint was one that was lost during the artistic hibernation so I’m not sure. The doodles are done in Pigma pens, just like Little Miss Margins and I have to say they’re a heck of a lot easier to work with than acrylics on that small a scale.

Her seams and logo have been removed, but she was done so long ago that I don’t remember if her ears and hooves were also worked on. She looks just fine as is, so I suppose it doesn’t matter in the long run.

I’m considering holding her out as part of my home herd– but the goal was to sell horses, not add to the shelf conga. *wistful sighs*

Painted June 2012

Medium: Liquitex Artist Color Acrylics (Gesso, Mars Black, Light Portrait Pink), FolkArt Acrylics (670 Metallic Blue Pearl), Unknown Acrylics (Dark Metallic Blue), Pigma Micron 02 black pen
