May might not have been the best month in terms of income, but it was pretty darned good in terms of publicity.

I finished two show donations (Big Orange Bash and Sweet Onion Live) that were well received and am waiting on the third body. I got in a custom order request that I’m waiting to bill on since it’s a) a dapple grey and b) a resculpt and I’m not sure where it in the learning curve I am right now for either of those.

I’ve got a lot of ‘works in progress’ that should finish off in June, so the store shelves (and the MH$P listing rotations) will fill out nicely. If I’m lucky I’ll end up with 31 horses done and a Camp NaNoWriMo win too boot! 😉

Moving Forward

You’ll notice there are still only horses in the store… and I’m working on that. My goal for Camp NaNoWriMo this year is to produce a whole passel of short stories that I can either run as serial stories or attempt to publish as flash fiction in traditional markets.

I’m also still poking around with the idea of Saturday Story Prompt collections, but I’m still wrestling with how much writing/effort a dollar is actually worth. *sighs*

But every step forward is another stone in the wall, so I’m gonna keep at it! 🙂
