Newton’s Law

Newton’s Law

Newton’s Laws of Motion dictate that a body at rest tends to stay at rest—and he wasn’t kidding! This little gal sat half-finished on my workbench for almost two months before she finally got going again. Not as impressive as the seven year hibernation of most of my body box, but certainly longer than anticipated!

Once this little gal got up and moving, she was headed for the hills. Newton is painted in acrylics and pastels as a bright red bay with minimal tobiano markings and a short blaze (or a long star). She’s got just enough chrome to stand out in a herd and should make a great addition to your shelves.

I have no idea if she would by LSQ, but depending on the shows in your area (and the price-points of the competition), she might have a chance. I definitely think she’s PSQ and should do well in photos shows, but as always ‘show quality’ is in the eye of the beholder. If you have any doubts, please ask for more photos!

Medium: Liquitex Artist’s Color Acrylics (Ivory Black, Gesso, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Oxide, Light Portrait Pink), Sargent Art Chalk Pastels (Earthtone)
