This little gal is a show donation for Big Orange Bash which will take place on June 16, 2012 in Knoxville, TN. The show is held at the Hollingsworth Auditorium in the University of Tennessee and is a fundraiser to benefit the UT College of Veterinary Medicine. The request was for ‘something orange’ so I took the UT colors of orange and white and added a dollop of Tennessee Agate (the state stone).

I wanted to keep the heavy orange and white as a tribute to the university colors, so the banding doesn’t go all the way up the body. It does make for some fun concentric belly and nose circles, but I tried to keep the fun down to less than 50% of the boat color.

She’s topped off with realistic eyes, blue ribbons to give a little kick of contrast, and a high gloss finish. Right now she’s waiting on final approval (which this this post is for) and then she’ll either be galloping off to the show… UPDATE: And they do! Woot! *happy dance*
