You might call this little guy pink, but he prefers ‘lightish red. ‘ Halo machinima jokes aside, Frost is a shaded rose, but without the flaxen mane and tail of his counterparts ROL Lida Rose and Kentucky Rose.
He’s got a pointalistic sabino pattern that wanders away from reality a bit as it works its way up his legs. I was heading into frost/snowflake territory at that point, so I’ll have to plead artistic license. He’s got realistic eyes and realistic-ish hooves (right color family, but unshaded) to round things off.
His raised hooves are carved, but just a quick outline of the hoofwall and frog. His ears don’t appear to be carved and his factory smooshed-nose has not been corrected. The nose is the one real downside to this mold—I wish they’d fix it so the customizers don’t have too! *grump*
Seams have been sanded, logo removed, and he’s got a pretty solid paint job (although a tad unrealistic) so I’m not sure where he’d fall on the LSQ spectrum. I think the nose would bump him out of the running, but it all depends on what else is on the table.
I’d be willing to say he’s PSQ and if he’s not sold by the time I get my TOPSA/MEPSA/IMEHA show strings up and running then he’ll get added to the queue.
The Breyer Stablemate G2 Clydesdale/Shire is a little under 3 inches tall, 3.5 inches long, and 1.5 inches wide. Per Breyer Stablemates are all 1:32 scale, but it varies a bit between molds.
