For Want of a Muse

Posted on March 12, 2012January 22, 2019 by Martha Bechtel

Technically this is the exact opposite of a progress report, but the category still fits I suppose. *sighs*

“Three Tequila, Floor” is now stubbornly stalled out on chapter/post 2. I have the scenes outlined, the general flow of the dialog and movement down—and darned if I can get the thing from uber-rough draft to prose.

I’m not sure if it’s because my brain is switching into graphic novel mode for Script Frenzy or because I’m not trying hard enough. In theory writer’s block is be just another means of procrastination, but darned if I can figure it out.

So yes, this is basically a filler post saying ‘I’m working on it, really!’ (With luck I’ll sneak by the Plot Dragon and get my Fuzzy Blue Plot back, but things are looking rough.)
