When I got tagged to play in Gnomegddon’s Sixth Meme it sounded like a fun idea to try and map out everyone who was involved.
If nothing else, I figured it would be an easy way for me to find blog that hadn’t been taged yet.
It’s nine days later and I’m beginning to realize just how crazy this little adventure is/was/will be… (Thanks to WoW Insider’s link I’ve got a traffic spike I’ll treasure forever! ;))
The meme isn’t dead yet, but my sanity is worn a bit thin so I’m declaring this to be my unoffical post-mortum round-up. I might come back in a week or so and update things once last time, but I make no promises.

Too Much, I Sum-up
I never intended to end-up with a brief whirl in the spotlight. I built the meme-tree for the fun of it—a quick trip back to the days when that’s all the internet was, just simple hub-pages that led you down fractal trees of websites.
I’m glad that folks have found my random tangent useful/interesting/entertaining and I hope everyone has found some new blogs to follow! 😀

And I did waffle over splitting the tree into multiple posts just so I could keep going… and putting in the timestamps so that I could accurately track who tagged who first (instead of as I found them).
My husband was horribly unhelpful and offered to import everything into his genealogy software so that we could have a proper family tree of blogs… *headdesk*

The wow’osphere is much smaller that I’d expected… I was seriously worried this would end up being over a thousand tags. (Thank goodness it wasn’t!)
So many new (to me) blogs to read, now I’m never going to get any work done 🙂
I figured I couldn’t be the only one who was looking to expand their blogroll, hence the lists above. So much new stuff to read! 😀

I love your summary Martha 🙂 And trust me, I know how doing the whole thing just drives you insane after a while, but I had fun and I’m glad you did too! And like you, totally LOVED the traffic spike from WowInsider! Guess craziness does get us noticed 🙂 but like you I didn’t make my chart to get me noticed, I was just really interested in the connections and had difficulty trying to visualise the thing.
