Although I had good intentions for both my morning and my lunch break, I ended up with zero wordcount rolling into this evening.

Originally I had planned to swing by Aromas tonight and get some writing done, but I’ve picked up a bit of a stomach bug and I have no desire to share that curse with the other NaNo’ing folks. Normally Murphy’s Law waits until later in the week to strike me down, but I guess he’s starting early this year.

Joy.

So I wrapped up dinner and sat down to a blank page. Not the worst thing in the world, but definitely not where I had hoped I’d be.

Several hours later I’m still a smidgen short of my goal, but it’s time to call it a night. Hopefully tomorrow will go better since this isn’t the most promising start. *mutters*

But I’ve gone back and tweaked my plan for tomorrow and hopefully ironed out some of the kinks. If all goes well I’ll be able to make up today’s shortfall as well as bank some wordcount against future Murphy attacks…
