Summary: Word War! Blue and Nathan and Horn discover something amazing after their bath…
NOTE: This is a very rough draft with no editing at all (per National Novel Wiriting Month rules) and is presented for amusement value only. Think of it as a periscope into my writing process rather than a coherent story!
There will most likely be spelling and grammatical errors afoot as well as flat out bad writing, info dumps, plot holes, contradictions/retcons, uneven characterization and pacing. These snippits are also posted out of order, so please refer to the Outline to figure out where it’s supposed to fit.

And Then There Was Cheese!
They sat in the pool quite some time before Nathan and Blue finally had enough of the heat and moved down a few pools to wash properly. They kept clean enough in the city, but it was nice to use the odd smelling soaps and shampoos, something odd and different was always a nice change. There was even an odd foaming one that had two liquids that combined when the container was upended.
They wasted a few minutes playing with this because they are boys and it’s SCIENCE!
Horn wanted nothing to do with the soaps, prefering to shake like a dog and then carefully preen himself in and odd combination of cat and bird. He was dry and fluffy again about the same time they had slipped into the soft white robes and dried their hair into something workable.
There was food and drink out by the entrance to the shared rooms and they two picked over the simple plate of breads and what looked to be cheeses, beans or hummas, and some fruits. It was light enough to suggest that there would be dinner later, so Blue didn’t stuff himself although Horn went black into full on bliss mode when he discovered the cheese.
This amused the heck out of Nathan, who was seeing a whole new side of the elf than he normally did.
All in all it was a pretty relaxing few hours and by the time the man in red showed back up they were raring to go.
